Our Editorial Process
How we research, write, and review the numerology resources you read on Numaura.
What We Publish, and Why
Numaura's resource library exists to translate numerology out of the "mystical shadows" and into something structured, practical, and easy to apply to your own life. Every article is written to explain a specific number, cycle, or pattern clearly, with an emphasis on how the concept actually shows up in day-to-day decisions, relationships, and self-understanding.
Professional Review
Articles in a subset of our library — specifically those covering relational dynamics, intergenerational patterns, social dynamics, and emotional-wall topics — are reviewed by Catherine Egenes, LMFT, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience, before they're published. Catherine's review focuses on whether the relational and emotional framing in these pieces holds up against real clinical understanding of how people, couples, and families actually work. Articles with this review carry a visible "Reviewed by" credit at the top of the piece. Not every article on Numaura goes through this review, rather it's specific to the relational and family-pattern topics where her therapeutic background is directly relevant.
Editorial Standards
Across every article, we apply an editorial process that combines human judgment with quality checks designed to support three standards. First, accuracy: the numerology calculations themselves (Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge, and the rest) follow consistent, documented traditional methods, and we test them rigorously so the numbers you read about match the numbers in your own report. Second, clarity: numerology can get dense fast, so we write to be understood, not to sound impressive. Third, restraint: we avoid absolute or overstated claims. Numerology is a framework for reflection and self-understanding, not a guarantee or a prediction, and we try to write about it that way.
Where the Content Comes From
Our articles draw on established numerology tradition, filtered through two lenses that shape how Numaura approaches this material more broadly. Catherine's professional and therapeutic background informs how we talk about relationships, family patterns, and emotional growth. Our co-founder Andrew's product and systems background informs how we structure numerology as a clear, logical framework rather than something vague or unfalsifiable. Together, these two perspectives are why Numaura frames numerology as a "structured, intelligent framework" rather than a purely mystical practice.
Dynamic Content Personalization
For readers who are registered, signed in, and have purchased a paid individual report to unlock their full numerology chart, Numaura's resource library adapts dynamically. Instead of showing generic defaults, our articles automatically integrate your personal numbers and cycle interpretations directly into the text.
When personalization is active, you'll see a dedicated banner at the top of the article indicating which aspect of your chart is being referenced (such as your Soul Urge or Life Path number). Throughout the article, personalized values are marked with a subtle highlight and interactive tooltips, letting you explore how these concepts align with your personal path. For guests or users who haven't unlocked their full chart, the content resolves gracefully to clear, illustrative defaults.
Keeping Articles Current
Our library isn't static. We periodically revisit published articles to correct inaccuracies, tighten unclear explanations, and differentiate content that has started to overlap with newer pieces as the library grows. When we make a substantive update to an article, you'll see an "Updated" date alongside the original publish date at the top of the piece.
If you spot something in an article that seems inaccurate or unclear, you can let us know and we'll take a look.
